Why product need to do reliability testing?


In order to evaluate and analyze the reliability of electronic products, the test is called reliability test. For different products, in order to achieve different purposes, you can choose different reliability test methods. Reliability test: also called product reliability evaluation, the product's ability to complete the specified functions under specified conditions and within a specified time. In the process of design and application, the product is constantly subjected to the influence of itself and the external climate environment and mechanical environment, but still needs to be able to work normally, which needs to be verified with test equipment. This verification is basically divided into R&D test and trial production test. , Three parts of mass production sampling. Reliability tests include: aging test, temperature and humidity test, gas corrosion test, mechanical vibration test, mechanical shock test, collision test and drop test, dustproof and waterproof test, packaging pressure test and other environmental reliability tests.
 
 
Reliability test:
 
1. Temperature lower limit work test: the tested sample is powered on and run the test program for initial test. Under the condition that the tested sample is not working, the temperature chamber is gradually reduced to 0℃. After the temperature is stable, power on and run the test program for 5 hours. The function and operation of the tested sample should be normal. After the test, wait for the temperature chamber return to room temperature, take out the sample, and recover for 2 hours under normal atmospheric pressure.
 
Recommended inspection standard: the function and operation of the tested sample should be normal, and there should be no obvious deviation in appearance.
 
2. Low-temperature storage test Put the sample in a low-temperature chamber, lower the box temperature to -20°C, store the sample for 16 hours without working, take the sample back to room temperature, restore it for another 2 hours, and run the test program after power on In the final inspection, the function and operation of the tested sample should be normal, and there should be no obvious deviation in appearance. In order to prevent the test sample from frosting and condensation during the test, the test sample is allowed to be sealed with a polyethylene film and then tested. If necessary, a moisture absorbent can be installed in the sealing sleeve.

3. Working test of upper temperature limit The test sample shall be tested for the first time. Under the condition that the tested sample is not working, gradually increase the temperature chamber to 40℃. After the temperature is stable, power on and run the system diagnostic program for 5 hours. The function and operation of the tested sample should be normal. After the test, wait for the temperature chamber return to room temperature, take out the sample, and recover for 2 hours under normal atmospheric pressure.

4. High-temperature storage test Put the sample into a high-temperature chamber, raise the temperature chamber to 55°C, store the sample for 16 hours without working, take the sample back to room temperature, and recover for 2 hours.
